Maple Leaf centre Tyler Bozak had more than winning faceoff’s on his mind in early December, he was trying to win a heart too. As the Leafs prepared to play the New York Rangers at MSG the Leafs top line centre tweeted at his crush, Kate Upton. Bozak not only invited the stunning model to the game but also to convert her to a member of Leafs Nation. While Upton did respond, it wasn’t the answer Mr. Bozak was looking for and he followed her reply with a shameless second attempt.

Tyler Bozak: Hey Kate,. Thoughts on coming to msg tonight and converting to a leafs fan? One in a million? I think it’s a good idea.

Kate Upton: Good game tonight enjoy NYC

Tyler Bozak: Thanks Kate. I think I have to bring you a Leafs jersey for next game there. It only seems right! Your thoughts? Haha

Hey Tyler, maybe focus on scoring goals instead of scoring phone numbers.

Yeahhh! How about some gossip with mister I don’t know how Facebook’s privacy settings work, Brett Lawrie.

Rumors flying around the interwebs are mentioning that Toronto Blue Jays third-baseman Brett Lawrie broke-up with his soccer chick Sidney Leroux. They were engaged. WOW. Please pay attention to the (???) in my title post. Can’t say if this is true or false. What’s intresting about Brett Lawrie these days is that he’s in Kelowna B-C on some sort of autograph signing tour. The lady in charge is Marissa Edler aka @RissyJoy. Here’s what he thinks of her:
